I trapped a tiny spider under the box that holds my retainers. I should have got new ones last year or the year before, but my orthodontist kept saying I wouldn't need them at all soon. Well, it's been a bit of a week. On Monday night I noticed an odd lump on the left side of my neck, just at the base of my skull.
